I have always enjoyed reading aloud. I read aloud horror stories (and even novels in one sitting) in the sixties to those who'd care to listen at University. In my early days of marriage, I read aloud many books to my wife. And novels and stories to both my children. The only way to bring literature truly alive??

  • I'm now excited I can bring my voice to the internet! Although I'm not sure anyone else is quite so excited! :)

Well, I finally negotiated the morass that is the world of Blog and arrived in time for Des's concert. I wore my new avatar for the occasion and clutched my programme in a trembling hand. 'Take That' sing along with a mechanical elephant; Rod Stewart with lots of buxom blondes. Des sings accompanied by a pink sheep. Has there ever been anyhting like it? NO!

Encore! Encore! Do you know 'Guantanamerra'? It is much beloved of Glaswegians holidaying in Majorca.
