Iritis

Saturday, 6 February 2010 8:30 P GMT+01
Iritis is a rare, mysterious and potentially serious eye condition. I’ve suffered from iritis intermittently since 1973 – in either eye, but mainly the left. Thanks goodness, so far, never in both eyes at once! I have had it i

Dawn's Game

In the old days, each day was indeed so old it could not recall anything with its failing memory. The people who lived during those old days – like me – tried to help each day as it dawned by calling up for it our own memories that we bel

The Hawler (read aloud)

posted Friday, 11 September 2009

The best of novels, the worst of novels...

Please excuse stumblings in my reading-process; the novel's plot and/or text entails such stumblings.

Painting by David Welham (2009)

I have just read aloud 'The Hawler' (a novel) written by me in 2005.  Speedy links have been placed below on this page for you to hear it.

This is a raw reading aloud. I've not re-read it since 2005. If there is surprise in my reading voice, that's because I am surprised. I think this is the authentic way to read it aloud, even if it does result in a few stumbles as I go through.

These are all normal .wma files.
